Odoo Partner Agriculture in Florida

Odoo for Florida farms and growers, built around the season.

Florida grows when most of the country does not. The winter season packs a year of orders into a few months.

We set up Odoo for growers, nurseries, and packers in Florida who need stock, orders, and costs in one place before the season starts, not during it.

Where projects start

Odoo for Florida farms and growers: three places it starts.

Each situation has a part that is setup and a part that needs its own scope. We keep the two apart, so you know what you are buying.

A winter season that outruns the office

What it looks like
Orders, trucks, and invoices peak in the same weeks. The office works nights to keep up, and the mistakes surface as credits in the spring.
What we set up
Standing orders, price lists, pick lists, and invoices from one record, so the same order is not typed three times.
What needs scoping
Connections to a buyer's ordering system or EDI, and anything involving catch weight.

A nursery with thousands of items

What it looks like
Plants by size, container, and grade make a long catalog. Availability lists are built by hand each week and are stale by the time they are sent.
What we set up
Product variants, stock by location, and an availability list or customer portal that reads from live inventory.
What needs scoping
Count methods for stock that grows and changes grade, and any barcode or tagging hardware.

A storm or a freeze

What it looks like
A hurricane or a cold snap changes what you have to sell overnight. The questions afterward are about what was lost and what was already promised.
What we set up
Inventory adjustments with reasons, open orders by customer, and cost records by block or crop that already exist when you need them.
What needs scoping
Reports shaped for an insurer or a relief program. Those formats come from your adviser, and we build to them.

The Florida part

What is different about growing in Florida.

The growing calendar is inverted, the workforce is often seasonal and Spanish-speaking, and weather is a planning item. None of that changes what Odoo is, but it changes when a project should start and how training is delivered. We plan launch for the slow months, not the peak.

We are not legal, tax, or regulatory advisers. Requirements come from your own advisers and regulators, and we configure the system to match.

Working with us

How Parameter works with a Florida organization.

Local

Parameter is a Florida company with an office in Coral Gables. We work from our own office, and we come on site when a project needs it.

English and Spanish

Our team works in both languages. Workflow reviews, training, and written guides can be in the language your staff works in.

The first conversation is free

It can be a call, an email, or an in-person meeting. When Odoo is in scope, the Odoo Assessment follows with a written Preliminary Scope within 5 business days of that conversation.

Odoo or not
Whichever fits

Odoo is the ERP we implement, and we are an Odoo Partner. When connecting or configuring what you already run is the better move, that is what we recommend.

After launch
Someone still answers

Odoo Support month to month, or Odoo Operations as a committed engagement.

FAQ

Questions from Florida farms and growers.

When should a Florida grower start an Odoo project?

In the off season, with enough room to load data and train before orders peak. The written scope sets the dates. Going live in the middle of harvest is the one plan we argue against.

Can Odoo handle seasonal workers and labor contractors?

Timesheets against a crop or task are standard. Piece rates, visa program requirements, and contractor arrangements are payroll and compliance questions, and they are scoped with your accountant. We do not give labor law advice.

Do you work with farms and growers outside Miami?

Yes. Our office is in Coral Gables, and we work with organizations across Florida, in English and Spanish. The first conversation can be a call, an email, or an in-person meeting.

Do you host Odoo?

No. Odoo runs on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh, or on your own server, and we help you choose. The choice depends mostly on whether you need custom code.
