Odoo for Florida logistics companies, at the gateway.
Florida's ports and Miami's air cargo operation connect the United States to Latin America and the Caribbean. A great many small forwarders and warehouses do the connecting.
We set up Odoo for Florida warehouses, carriers, and forwarders, with teams trained in English and Spanish.

Odoo for Florida logistics companies: three places it starts.
Each situation has a part that is setup and a part that needs its own scope. We keep the two apart, so you know what you are buying.
Consolidating for export
- What it looks like
- A forwarder receives packages from many shippers and consolidates them for a destination abroad. Receipts are logged in a spreadsheet.
- What we set up
- Receiving by scan against the shipper and the consignee, with locations and a list per consolidation.
- What needs scoping
- Customs and export filings and airline or ocean carrier bookings. Those stay in forwarding software.
Clients who want to see their stock
- What it looks like
- A warehouse client calls every morning to ask what is on hand. Someone walks the floor to answer.
- What we set up
- A client portal showing that client's own stock and movements.
- What needs scoping
- A direct connection to the client's own system, depending on what it offers.
A storm closing
- What it looks like
- A hurricane warning closes the port and the warehouse for days. Every promised date has to be redone.
- What we set up
- Open orders and inbound receipts by date and client, so rescheduling and client notices start from a list.
- What needs scoping
- Automatic notices tied to port or carrier status feeds.

What is different about logistics in Florida.
Much of Florida's freight is international, moving through its seaports and through Miami's air cargo hub to Latin America and the Caribbean. The businesses doing it are often small, bilingual, and built on personal relationships. Storm closures are a planning item every year. Odoo handles the warehouse, the billing, and the languages, and customs work stays with licensed brokers and their software.
We are not legal, tax, or regulatory advisers. Requirements come from your own advisers and regulators, and we configure the system to match.
How Parameter works with a Florida organization.
Local
Parameter is a Florida company with an office in Coral Gables. We work from our own office, and we come on site when a project needs it.
English and Spanish
Our team works in both languages. Workflow reviews, training, and written guides can be in the language your staff works in.

Questions from Florida logistics companies.
Can warehouse staff scan in Spanish?
Yes. The barcode screens follow each user's language. We train on the floor, in the language the crew works in.
Can Odoo file customs or export documents?
No. Filings go through systems and licensed parties approved for that. Odoo can store the documents with the shipment and track their status.
Do you work with logistics companies outside Miami?
Yes. Our office is in Coral Gables, and we work with organizations across Florida, in English and Spanish. The first conversation can be a call, an email, or an in-person meeting.
Do you host Odoo?
No. Odoo runs on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh, or on your own server, and we help you choose. The choice depends mostly on whether you need custom code.
