Odoo Partner Mining & Quarrying in Florida

Odoo for Florida mining and quarrying companies, pit by pit.

Florida mines limestone, sand, and phosphate. Much of it feeds construction and agriculture close to home.

We set up Odoo for Florida quarries, pits, and the contractors that supply them, with maintenance, parts, and sales in one place across sites.

Where projects start

Odoo for Florida mining and quarrying companies: three places it starts.

Each situation has a part that is setup and a part that needs its own scope. We keep the two apart, so you know what you are buying.

Demand from a building boom

What it looks like
Road and housing work pulls every ton the pit can produce. Machines run longer hours and service gets skipped.
What we set up
Service plans by machine, work orders, and parts reserved ahead, so maintenance is planned around production.
What needs scoping
Telematics feeds for engine hours, which depend on the equipment maker's system.

More than one site

What it looks like
A company runs several pits or yards. Parts, fuel, and people move between them without a record.
What we set up
Stock and transfers by site, cost tagged by site, and one price list with site differences where needed.
What needs scoping
Separate companies per site and the accounting between them.

Wet season and storms

What it looks like
Summer rain and hurricanes stop work and flood pits. Schedules, deliveries, and customer promises all shift.
What we set up
Open orders by customer and date, so rescheduling starts from a list. Equipment and site checklists as tasks.
What needs scoping
Environmental and water management reporting, which comes from your permits.

The services behind these, what Odoo does not do for this industry, and one piece of work followed from start to finish are on the Odoo for mining and quarrying companies page.

The Florida part

What is different about extraction in Florida.

Florida's pits are close to the surface and close to the water table, and its wet season is long. Most aggregate goes to Florida construction, so demand follows the building cycle. Permits carry environmental conditions that set what must be recorded. Odoo holds the equipment, parts, sales, and dates, and the permit conditions come from you.

We are not legal, tax, or regulatory advisers. Requirements come from your own advisers and regulators, and we configure the system to match.

Working with us

How Parameter works with a Florida organization.

Local

Parameter is a Florida company with an office in Coral Gables. We work from our own office, and we come on site when a project needs it.

English and Spanish

Our team works in both languages. Workflow reviews, training, and written guides can be in the language your staff works in.

The first conversation is free

It can be a call, an email, or an in-person meeting. When Odoo is in scope, the Odoo Assessment follows with a written Preliminary Scope within 5 business days of that conversation.

Odoo or not
Whichever fits

Odoo is the ERP we implement, and we are an Odoo Partner. When connecting or configuring what you already run is the better move, that is what we recommend.

After launch
Someone still answers

Odoo Support month to month, or Odoo Operations as a committed engagement.

FAQ

Questions from Florida mining and quarrying companies.

Will you visit the site?

Yes, when the project needs it. Seeing the storeroom, the shop, and the scale house in person is usually worth a day. Most of the build is done from our office on a staging system.

Can Odoo track permit dates and inspections?

As dates, documents, and reminders with an owner, yes. It does not know what your permits require. You or your consultant define that, and we set up the reminders.

Do you work with mining and quarrying companies outside Miami?

Yes. Our office is in Coral Gables, and we work with organizations across Florida, in English and Spanish. The first conversation can be a call, an email, or an in-person meeting.

Do you host Odoo?

No. Odoo runs on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh, or on your own server, and we help you choose. The choice depends mostly on whether you need custom code.
