Odoo vs HubSpot: a CRM, or the whole back office?
HubSpot is a customer platform: marketing, sales, and service tools built around a CRM. Odoo is an ERP that happens to include a CRM. They overlap in the sales pipeline and almost nowhere else.
So the real question is where your problem lives. If it is lead generation and marketing, HubSpot is the specialist. If sales can't see stock, invoices, or delivery dates, a better CRM won't fix that. Here is where each one fits, with both vendors' list prices.
Odoo or HubSpot: which one fits?
Stay with HubSpot if marketing drives the business: content, ads, lead nurturing, and a sales team that lives in the pipeline, with accounting and fulfilment handled well somewhere else.
Look at Odoo if you want quotes, stock, invoices, and support tickets in the same system as the pipeline, or you are paying for HubSpot seats mostly to hold a contact list.
Keep both if each one is doing a job the other can't: HubSpot for marketing, Odoo for operations, connected through their APIs.
Three differences that matter more than the feature list.
1. What each one is
HubSpot's product list is a Smart CRM plus hubs for marketing, sales, service, content, data, and revenue, which covers quotes, invoices, and payments. It has no general ledger, inventory, purchasing, or manufacturing. For those, HubSpot connects to an accounting system or an ERP.
Odoo puts CRM, Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounting, eCommerce, and Helpdesk in one subscription. The CRM is one app among many. Its strength is what it is connected to.
2. How you pay
HubSpot charges per seat, per hub, and per tier. Sales Hub Professional starts at $90 a seat per month, billed annually, plus a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500. Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month with 3 seats and 2,000 marketing contacts, plus $3,000 for onboarding.
Odoo charges per user: $31.10 a month on Standard and $61.00 on Custom, billed yearly, with every app included. It prices by user, not by contact, and it has no required onboarding fee.
3. Where each one goes deeper
HubSpot goes deeper in marketing and sales tooling: campaigns across channels, ads, social, sequences, forecasting, and conversation intelligence. A marketing team that works in it every day will notice the difference.
Odoo goes deeper in everything after the deal closes. The salesperson sees what is in stock, the order becomes a delivery and an invoice, and nobody retypes it. On paper, an integration gives you the same thing. In reality, it gives you a sync to own.
Where each one is stronger.
Where Odoo is stronger
- Sales sees stock, deliveries, and invoices without an integration.
- Inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and accounting are in the same subscription.
- Priced per user. No contact tiers and no required onboarding fee.
- Helpdesk, Subscriptions, eCommerce, and Field Service without buying another hub.
- Custom modules with source access, on hosting you choose.
Where HubSpot is stronger
- Marketing depth: campaigns across channels, ads, social, and content tools in one place.
- Sales tooling at Professional: sequences, forecasting, and conversation intelligence.
- Free tools for up to 2 users, so a small team can start today.
- A narrower product, which makes it quicker to learn.
- No ERP project. If a CRM is all you need, that is all you set up.

What a 10-person sales team costs on each.
Ten seats of HubSpot Sales Hub Professional come to $10,800 a year at list price, plus the $1,500 onboarding fee. Add Marketing Hub Professional and it is another $9,600 a year for 3 seats and 2,000 marketing contacts, plus $3,000 for onboarding.
Ten Odoo users come to $3,732 a year on Standard, or $7,320 on Custom, with CRM, marketing, inventory, and accounting apps included. Each figure is users times the monthly list price times 12, before Odoo's first-year discount.
This is not like for like. HubSpot's marketing tools go further than Odoo's, and Odoo's price covers apps HubSpot does not sell. Odoo also needs an implementation, so compare the full cost and not only the license. The Odoo pricing guide covers the Odoo side in full.
